Gary is a pioneer in the Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) market, bringing together 40 years of experience in business strategy & development, marketing, operations and management. Gary has a vast network of strategic relationships, which he has developed since he founded Evolutionary Ventures, a consulting firm specializing in natural products, integrated health, personal growth and renewable energy in 1995. Gary has launched several companies in this industry, serving in executive roles, including CEO, COO and VP. His ingenious business plans raised millions in funding and the acquisition of several companies.

Gary brings to LOHAS his vast knowledge from the computer industry, garnering industry recognition, including two PC Magazine's Editors Choice Awards and Syncro Corporation reaching #173 on the Inc. 500. His unique combination of technical background, relational skills, and business experience working with startups has given Gary a full-range of capabilities in starting, developing and running cutting edge, sustainable and profitable companies.

 

Gary also builds businesses at the intersection of social impact and media. He is the founder/CEO of Aware Cinema, a marketing and distribution platform for films for social impact. As CEO of Ethical Markets Media, he launched the first national weekly TV series on socially responsible businesses to over 44 million homes. He served as COO of media companies PlayItFwd, Harmony Channel and Passionate Living. He was co-founder/Managing Director of Global Film Ventures, an accelerator for independent film, and founder of BroadcastHealth.com, a pioneering streaming video company. He served as Director of CSRwire, a corporate social responsibility newswire and division of SocialFunds.com. He has organized, produced and promoted major events such as the Healthy Living Expo, and worked with many notable leaders. He has been an advisor for the Meta health brand and on the Board of Directors for the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education, Nourish America and others.

 

Gary graduated from Villanova University, where he was a member of the 1978 NCAA Champion Indoor Track team and the Villanova Singers. He is an Eagle Scout and member of the Savoy Company, the world's oldest Gilbert and Sullivan Company, singing Bass.
