Mr. Raymond Mason presently holds acting and interim executive positions with several firms in a consulting capacity. He is VP & Chief Operating Officer of Nations Investment Co. that provides consulting advice and strategic services in the business areas of aviation, compliance, construction & engineering, finance, operations, regulation, reorganizations and transactions.
During his tenure at Citizens Utilities that became Frontier Communications he ascended to the position of VP Corporate Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Mason has led financial accounting statements board rulings, regulatory filings, rule making initiatives, policy planning, tax pronouncements and assorted proceedings throughout thirty-four states in all diversified business segments including: electric, gas, water / wastewater and telephony.
He has presented and/or directed the presentation of expert witness testimony on more than sixty occasions. He has presented before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Federal Communications Commission, Environmental Protection Agency, Securities Exchange Commission, Special Senate Committee’s and the NY State Bar Association as well as before Regulatory Bodies.
Ray has held the positions of CEO & CFO at High Speed Video, COO at Corporate Workflow Solutions and Senior Enterprise Management Consultant at Black & Veatch.
Ray continues to work with contacts in business, government and technology segments of African, Asia, Eastern Europe, Europe, Latin American and the Middle East. He consults on mergers/acquisitions, policy and statutory / rule-making issues and technological change in the areas of telecommunications, energy, utilities and economics.
He is frequently engaged by Wall Street Investment Firms. As an investment advisor, Ray continues to consult for several International Investment Firms. Mr. Mason has directly participated in acquisitions, divestitures and public bond as well as debt financing. He has raised equity capital for the start-up of new ventures, structured the functional as well as transactional hierarchy business organizations.
